How To Get Free Advertising With Online Forums

Online forums, specifically geared to your market, are great places to get free advertising for your business. Online forums generally have lots of traffic and are highly ranked in the search engines. Although online forums do not allow you generally to advertise for free, you are usually allowed to have a signature file. This file can contain a small promo and the URL to your business. Because the forums are generally highly trafficked and ranked, your URL gets both traffic from the forum plus benefits from higher search engine rankings.Make sure you do not try to blatantly advertise on the forum. Unless the forum allows free advertising such as TheFreeAdForum.com, make sure you only contribute pertinent information about the topic. Be a real contributor and do not try to sneak in some free advertising. Forum moderators are hip to this and will just ban you. Be a real contributor.Your whole goal is to contribute valuable information on your topic and to learn. You will get free advertising by your signature with your URL.It is easy to find good forums on your topic. Just go to Google and type in "diets + forum" if your topic is about diets. Change this to the subject of your website. You do not have to join all of them. Just join the ones with the most traffic and members, and the ones which seem the most reputable in your industry.Many online forums have introduction sections. Be sure to introduce yourself. You will be surprised at the warm response you will receive. Again your signature files serves the purpose of free advertising for your business. This is very targeted free advertising since all the posts should be related to your industry.Take a few minutes each day to browse each forum and see if you find topics that interest you. It's a Boy!

I have such a beautiful new nephew. He really is something else. He seemed quite content in his Aunt Kris' arms! Big hugs and kisses my little bugaboo. :) Of course I had to make an adorable diaper cake with lots of Thank Heaven for Little Boys gear. :)

A NEW BABY!

How excited am I? I will have a new baby niece or nephew tomorrow! August 7th, 2008. :) This is my first niece or nephew! I can't wait to spoil and give one back finally! I think it's going to be a boy. I guess in a few hours I will know if my Sister wins or I do. She thinks its a girl.

I have to find a very special something to give to her! Off to sleep, I have been too excited to sleep it's already 2 am. If I do not get any sleep I will not be able to make the long drive down there tomorrow. So G'Night! Say a prayer for my new little nephew! lol (winking) :)

Business is looking up.

I am thrilled, two weeks on the web and already have sold a diaper cake and invitations! So far have heard back that I gave excellent customer service!

It's a great feeling when I set up at a show and everyone comes over and says, mmm can I have a large piece of that cake? or wow these are so beautiful I wish I knew someone who was having a baby! :)

My Poor Baby

Yesterday, the doctor said that he saw what I saw. My 3 year old's leg is slightly turning outward and he has flat feet. He will need to get fitted arch support shoes to help with turning the leg the right way. I am thankful that he does not have anything that is extremely serious wrong with him but lately it is a bunch of little things that make me worry so much about him.

First, his slightly lazy eye, which in time the doctors feel he will out grow, then his speech, enunciating his vowels in longer sentences has been a problem for him, but they expect him to outgrow that also. He will start speech therapy though in Oct. Then his little leg and feet. Poor kid! At least everyone of these problems can be taken care of and I am again very thankful for that!

Time for me?

Ha! Time for me.....whats that? Lately I feel like a run in circles. It's only 10 am and already had gotten the kids up and dressed, fed, ran son and his friend to the football camp. (I snicker at all the male testerone that is in the air) Then off to food shop. The cost of food is getting unbelievable!

Then back home to answer some emails, put away the groceries, and now off to my youngest's doctor appt!. Jeeze..... when I get back from that, Tif and I need to chat about the new website for women's depression. She is going to join forces with me and hopefully, we will make a difference to someone out there. We are both excited about give support and friendship and a shoulder to those who need understanding. Educating the world on what depression does and can do to families and the individuals needs to be done. This is not about being crazy! This is something beyond anyones control.
