My Poor Baby

Yesterday, the doctor said that he saw what I saw. My 3 year old's leg is slightly turning outward and he has flat feet. He will need to get fitted arch support shoes to help with turning the leg the right way. I am thankful that he does not have anything that is extremely serious wrong with him but lately it is a bunch of little things that make me worry so much about him.

First, his slightly lazy eye, which in time the doctors feel he will out grow, then his speech, enunciating his vowels in longer sentences has been a problem for him, but they expect him to outgrow that also. He will start speech therapy though in Oct. Then his little leg and feet. Poor kid! At least everyone of these problems can be taken care of and I am again very thankful for that!

Big big hug for my baby today!

Awww Krista - I am sorry your little one is having so many issues lately. But I can relate! (bet you don't find that surprising huh? LoL).

My oldest son had the leg/foot deal - 2 years in the fitted shoes and he was fine. He is now 14 - 5'9" - 135lbs and straight legs and feet! Also I had/have lazy eye. Mine was very severe but with eye patches for years and of course glasses all my life I am good now! No problems with it at all. My one step-son also has lazy eye and he went through eye patches and now wears glasses - he is fine too. :)

So don't you worry too much! Believe it or not the lazy eye and leg/foot deal is pretty common.
